Hella Jongerius is an amazing artist. She designs much more than pottery, including furniture and poofs. I absolutely adore her engraved porcelain. Her work can be seen at JongeriusLab, and at the Design Museum. (Careful, Design Museum's site is addictive!). I love the funky vases where she juxtaposes recycled materials with the delicacy of porcelain, effectively proving how sublime the ordinary can be.
