Making Art of Family Photos - Go Big!

One of my favorite rules when it comes to art is Go Big or Go Home!  This rule also applies to your family photos.  Clutter won't do, a bunch of little frames all over the place just looks messy.  So why not show your guests how incredible your family is by making large art out of their photos?  Here's some inspiration.  Hope you enjoy!

If you decide not to go super large, you can make your photos look simple, clean and modern by matching your frames.  The Boo and the Boy.

Your favorite photo as wallpaper!  Too fab!  Love the pops of pink.  vtwonen

And don't forget about your children's art.  I love children's art, it's so free spirited.  Here is looks fabulous collected.  The Boo and the Boy.

Fun Fashion Photography

I'm having a love/hate relationship with Pinterest.  It's absolutely addicting, but I am having trouble finding the original sources for images, and I worry about artists not receiving the credit they deserve.  Anyone else have this problem?  Is there a way to find the original source that I don't know about?  Any tips would be greatly appreciated.   That said, I am obsessed with these images.  Human hair and face are as much a canvas as a room.  I love hair and makeup colors that challenge the norm.  I would love to enlarge the following images to hang in my apartment (but, of course, wouldn't do so with the artists' permission).

So awesome.  Love the white hair and pink lips.

I adore pink hair and this stunning beauty is rockin' it!

And how amazing does this woman look in blue lipstick!

Silver lipstick!  Divine.

Please contact me if you know the photographers of these amazing works.  And I promise not to use unsourced images again.  Honest.  xo

You Go Girl or the FLOTUS is dope!

Today's episode of You Go Girl is dedicated, once again, to the fabulous First Lady of the United States.  I've said it many times, Michelle Obama is the most intriguing woman to grace magazine covers in years.  She looks absolutely stunning on the April 2013 issue of Vogue Magazine.
Photographed by Annie Lebowitz.  Dress by Reed Krakoff, from her own wardrobe.  How cool is that?

I've definitely got a girl crush on Mrs. Obama!  Michelle, you go girl!  Click here to see her previous Vogue Cover.

Thank you for reading!

I love my readers!  Thank you for taking the time to read my humble little blog.  I needed to take a little hiatus due to illness.  Thanks to those readers who sent emails checking on me!  You make my day!  I'm happy to report that I am feeling quite a bit better and little wiser (from all the meditation).  Just a reminder not to take any day for granted.  A day without pain is a gift and should be cherished.  Please stay tuned for lots of exciting new posts.  I am still obsessing about photography, so we'll be on that topic for a couple of days.  xo
